Communities around South Jersey will pause today to remember the 22nd anniversary of the September  11th attacks on America, paying tribute to the nearly 3,000 people killed at the World Trade Center, near Shanksville, PA, and at the Pentagon.

Here's a look at memorial services planned for today in South Jersey.

Atlantic City: The observance is at 10 am Monday on the Boardwalk at Jackson Avenue.

Absecon: Attales School students have a 9/11 Memorial at 9:30 am at Heritage Park on Mill Road.

An Absecon community memorial is planned for 6:30 pm at Heritage Park at 6:30 pm.

Egg Harbor Township:

The 177th Fighter Wing of the NJ Air National Guard will dedicate a Sept. 11 memorial, made from steel and concrete from the Twin Towers, at 10 am Monday at the base, 400 Langley Rd, EHT. A flyover is part of the ceremony.

Margate: The Margate Fire Dept is holding a 25-minute ceremony a 9 am at Fire Station 1, Washington Ave and Ventnor Ave

Ocean City: has a 9/11 observance at 6 pm Monday at the Ocean City Fire Dept, between 5th and 6th streets and Asbury Ave.

Sea Isle City: An observance is planned for 9 am Monday at Veterans Park on JFK Blvd..

Cape May County: The county memorial is being held at 4 pm Monday in front of the county Administration Building at 4 Moore Road in Cape May Court House.

Lower Township: A 9/11 tribute is happening at the Naval Air Station Wildwood Museum at Cape May Airport on Breakwater Road.

North Wildwood: The North Wildwood Fire Station is having a ceremony at 8:40 am at the station at 15th & Central Avenues.

Wildwood:  There is a ceremony at Byrne Plaza, 3400 Pacific Ave at 1 pm with students from Wildwood schools, local churches, police, and fire departments. The public is welcome.

Wildwood Crest: An observance happens at 5:30 pm at Alameno Park on New Jersey Ave.

Cape May: A Patriot Day Ceremony will be held at 6 pm with speakers and the lowering of the flag at The Cove on Beach Ave, West End of Cape May

Vineland: The Patriot Day Ceremony happens at City Hall, 640 East Wood St. at 6 pm.

Millville: The "Never Will the American People Forget" observance is in Buck Park, 10 Buck Street at 6:30 pm
