Thanksgiving is just weeks away. Soon we’ll be loading up on stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie for dessert. But, most likely, taking center stage on your dining room table will be the TURKEY!

How many pounds of turkey are you looking to get? 14 pounds or maybe 50! After all, you want to have plenty for the big day and enough for about 3 to 4 days of leftovers.

You can find the perfect turkey at one of the many great turkey farms throughout New Jersey, many of which have been around for decades. It’s a great way to support local farms and small businesses in the Garden State.

Ashley Farms

Ashley Farms has been open for 75 years! I talked with one of the owners, Ashley Myers who says, you get a premium turkey at Ashley Farms and you know exactly where it’s coming from and what it’s been fed. They grow all their own feed on site. She adds, it’s a very “personal experience.” Families have been coming back to buy their turkey year after year.
