Cold Weather Is Moving Into The Jersey Shore and Toms River Issues A Cold Blue Warning For Residents

When Monday arrives here at the Jersey Shore, so does cold weather. Winter doesn't officially arrive here in New Jersey until December 21st, but it will feel like it as overnight temps will dip below the freezing mark at times this week.

Looking ahead at the forecast, temperatures will be around or below the freezing mark all week long overnight beginning on Monday. Temps will be in the 30s from Monday through the following Monday. The coldest temps are overnight on Thursday and next Sunday when the thermometer will dip into the 20s.

With cold weather moving in officials here at the Jersey Shore have issued cold blue warnings. According to our friends at Just Believe Inc., Code Blue services will resume at Toms River Recreational Center on Monday Night.

Do you know what Code Blue 🔵 is ? "The regulations used to be 32° degrees with precipitation or 25° degrees without. In 2019 spearheaded by Terrance Turnbach a local Toms River Township Government, New Jersey council man, Paul Hulse, and many others they got the state to make it 32°degrees regardless of precipitation across the " Entire State".
