Let's start by saying New Jersey is not even close to being the best state for the work-life balance. That's the bad news.

The good news is we're not even close to being the worst state either. We average 17.5 vacation days a year and that places us as the #19 state in the nation for the work-life balance.

And with all the other tensions that come along with living in the Garden State, it would almost certainly be healthier to get away from work a little more.

Which State Has The Best Work-Life Balance In America?

No state does it better when it comes to work-life balance than Colorado, where workers take 20.3 vacation days a year.
