This list is not a list you'd particularly want to make, but with summer coming, it's a list all Garden State residents think we should make, and we didn't.
The list, published by My Tourist IQ, focuses on the states that are the most overcrowded with tourists.
If you live in New Jersey, you know what the summer brings to our area. You can never find a table at your favorite restaurant, you can't find a parking spot anywhere near the beach, and there is traffic everywhere.

Those problems are just the tip of the iceberg when the tourists invade New Jersey for some summer fun.

But those items alone are proof that we are among the most crowded states for tourists, right? Wrong.
According to this list, New Jersey isn't even in the top 15. And it gets even more confusing for the Garden State.
New Jersey Is Among The Most Visited States In America
We didn't make the list of the most overcrowded tourist states, but we ranked 9th for the most-visited US states, and almost all those tourists are pouring into the Jersey Shore.

The only thing I can think of is that the tourist season is shorter in New Jersey than in other states, but good luck telling New Jersey residents we didn't make this list when the 4th of July weekend rolls around.
