There's nothing more beautiful than a spring wedding, in my opinion. Flowers are in bloom, and the temperature is just perfect. It creates an absolutely gorgeous setting for your big day.

So what's in store for 2026 weddings?

Wedding Trends To Watch In New Jersey

Many couples are opting for a more relaxed dining option, including food trucks and a make-your-own taco bar. Heavy dishes are out, and I'm loving this change. You're still getting the same amount of food, it's just less formal.

According to Yelp, another big change is that mini cakes or a dessert tasting area are replacing the big wedding cake. Love that too.

Couples posing for photos is out, and candid shots are in. Vintage wedding dresses are becoming more and more popular, and welcome parties are the new big thing.

I have to say, I'm in favor of a lot of these changes. It just feels more relaxed and less formal, which I think creates a fun atmosphere for all to enjoy!
