Who's excited for the holidays?

I'm feeling pretty festive. I went to Merry Mile of Lights at A. Casola Farms in Holmdel the other night for the beautiful drive-through holiday light display, all while enjoying a delicious cup of hot chocolate.

Have you taken a drive around the neighborhood to admire the decorations, gone ot the mall to visit Santa, or stopped by your neighbor's house for a holiday party?

Baked cookies, decorated the tree, and sent out your Christmas cards yet?

Ok, so I haven't done any of those things yet, just the light show, but there's still time!

Are Residents Of New Jersey Embracing The Holiday Season?

Festive fun is in full swing, but apparently not everywhere.

The list of the five states most excited for Christmas is out, and New Jersey didn't make the cut.

Looks like the Garden State might not be feeling the holiday spirit as much as people are in other states.

According to Yahoo, a recent study by BetMGM Casino reviewed Google search trends for several Christmas-themed keywords, from Christmas decorations, Elf on the Shelf, to holiday markets, holiday parades, and light displays, to determine the states with the most holiday spirit.

The states topping the excitement list are Kansas, Alaska, Idaho, California, and Kentucky, but not New Jersey.

"States with strong local markets, outdoor festivals, and tight-knit neighborhoods tend to be more excited during holidays because people feel more connected and involved," according to the report on Yahoo.

We still have a couple of weeks left to join in on some holiday fun!
