Have you ever played cornhole?
You see it a lot during the summer months at outdoor parties, on the beach or at breweries throughout the state.
If you're gathering for a fun time, cornhole is usually one of the games everyone loves to play.
You throw small bean bags at an angled board with a hole in it and you score by landing a bag on the board or through the hole.
When I think about playing cornhole, I think of having a few beers and a few laughs.
Sometimes it can get pretty competitive, but it's usually just a super fun and very casual game.
It was recently in the news that a university in South Carolina was offering scholarships for cornhole!
Yes, scholarships to play cornhole!

They're the first two scholarships for this new sport at the university.
Ever since hearing about this story, I've been wanting to play.
The only problem...it's cold out!!
Although I haven't heard of any scholarships being offered in New Jersey for cornhole, there are 2 great places in the state for you to play.
The best part...they're INDOOR venues.
I love the idea of gathering up a bunch of friends and family and playing cornhole on a Saturday night.
