The secret reason those in New Jersey don’t mind one hour

Sometimes, those living in The Garden State don't know how to admit when they like something. Yes, it might be something that's beneficial, but we keep our mouths shut and choose to go the other way.

And by the other way, I mean to argue against whatever it is we secretly like. But why is that? Why are we so afraid to share our thoughts on a particular topic, especially if we're for it?

Is it because we might be afraid we'd be in the minority? Perhaps the thought of going against what we believe to be the most popular opinion scares us.

Oh wait, we're New Jersey, we don't get scared. So clearly, there's no way that could be it.

However, what if has more to do with us being completely oblivious to what we think we like and don't like? Perhaps at the moment, we might be against something, but deep down we know we want it.

We want it because it actually makes our lives easier. Take tolls, for example. I'm pretty sure none of us want them, but we do agree on paying them electronically without the need to stop (well, some don't).

OK, maybe tolls aren't the best example since we shouldn't even be paying them in the first place, but you get the point. Electronic tolling makes paying for them much easier, but we may not want to admit we like it.

Fortunately, this one thing we're referring to has nothing to do with money. But it does have to do with time. One hour, to be exact.

And it's something you secretly like, whether you admit to it or not.
