What’s the Catch? How is this Awesome New Jersey Home So Inexpensive?
I like to take a look at real estate from time to time and just dream.
In New Jersey, there's never a shortage of amazing houses and pieces of property.
This listing went up today and before I looked at the price, I took a tour.
It's a 5 bedroom, 5 and a half bath home that is nearly 7,000 square feet. It sits on 1.36 acres of land.
This home was custom built and is off of the very busy Green Grove Road in Ocean Township.
You start with the double mahogany front doors and enter a two-story foyer with a spiral staircase.
There's a beautiful living room, spacious formal dining room, family room with vaulted ceiling, and gas fireplace.
Did I mention a designer kitchen with a sunroom, a master bedroom suite with tons of closet space and storage, and a fully finished walk-out basement?
There's also something called a "Florida All Seasons Room" that puts this property over the top.
You may be saying to yourself, "this is your average upscale Monmouth County home, what's the big deal?"
The price.
It's not that this house is priced so high, it's that it's priced so low.
The property taxes are almost $23,000 a year. Keep in mind that it does sit on over an acre of prime land.
Take a tour and tell me what I'm missing.
Why is this phenomenal home priced, in my opinion, so low for all of the features, amenities, and especially this "Florida All Seasons Room?"
The price tag is at the end of the very entertaining tour.
