I’d Like To Buy A Lime and Some Salt Pat [VIDEO]

Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak has admitted to knocking back more than a few margaritas with letter-turner Vanna White while taping the game show.  In a new interview with ESPN 2's Dan Le Batard, Sajak says he spent some of his hosting days a little tipsy.

Sajak says that back in Wheel of Fortune's early days, the crew would get a long lunch break in between filming episodes.  A nearby Burbank, California watering hole called Los Arcos and lots of midday cocktails were the norm for he and Vanna.  Of the afternoon delight Sajak tells 'Dan Le Batard Is Highly Questionable' Sajak admits:

"Vanna and I would ... have two or three or six and then come and do the last shows and have trouble recognizing the alphabet," he says. "I had a great time. I have no idea if the shows were any good, but no one said anything, so I guess I did okay."

No word on whether in an intoxicated state Pat would have chosen that ceramic life-size Dalmation dog during the prize round.
