How Does Martin Luther King Jr’s Dream Speech Impact You? [VIDEO]

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's historic speech......

Even though you may or may not have been on this Earth 50 years ago, the speech heard around the world still gives us goosebumps.

We have come so far since August 28, 1968.  We still have ways to go.

Today, I not only look at the speech as a statement of bringing full equality and acceptance of everyone regardless of race, I admire Dr. King's passion for the cause.

I  remember reading about his preparation.  History shows that on the night before, Dr. King was still struggling to write his speech.  He was trying to find the right words for the right response.

While I can't speak for Dr. King, I would assume that he literally walked up to the podium in Washington D.C., and spoke from his heart.  His heart, spoke the truth.
