Hit and Run Driver Injures 25 Year-Old Woman in Seaside Heights
Over the weekend a woman visiting the Jersey Shore was hit by a car, according to police.
Kingston, New York, native Danielle Cangelosi was walking eastbound on Sheridan Avenue in Seaside Heights when a black Dodge Ram suddenly hit her and continued driving northbound on Central Avenue.
The 25 year-old was struck around 11 p.m. Sunday night, officials report. The impact of the Ram viciously threw Cangelosi up 20 feet. Her condition has not been revealed at this time. She is currently seeking treatment at Community Medical Center.
When it comes to the vehicle or the identity of the driver, the only information to be released is that it’s a partial New Jersey license plate with the letters 'TJ' on it.
