Help! A Truck Has Been Stolen From South Jersey’s New Christmas Vacation House
Unless you've been living under a rock for the last few holiday seasons, then by now, you're well aware of the Harbaugh family. You'd know them best as "The Griswolds Of South Jersey."
You know the house, right? It's the one in Gloucester County that's been decked out to match Clark Griswold's from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation starring Chevy Chase. They family began decorating their home a few years back just like the Griswold house. To accompany it, they also started a toy drive that would benefit children in need during the Christmas season. Well, it wound up attracting so much attention that it outgrew their neighborhood.
Now, the Harbaugh family is building their very own Christmas village where people can come from all over the region to admire the Griswold home look-a-like. Not only that, but visitors will also be able to experience all kinds of Christmas-themed activities - ice skating and hot chocolate included, of course.
The public can keep up with the village's progress via the Harbaugh Village Facebook page. Over the past few days, it seemed like the village is almost ready to officially open. Now, however, there's been a new development. According to a recent Facebook post, a work truck was taken from the property this week. Harbaugh Village is asking the public to share any information they may have regarding the vehicle to the police. They even took it a step further and said if the vehicle is returned, they won't even ask questions.
Check out the Facebook post below:
Hopefully, the vehicle is returned soon and in tact. People are stoked for this place to open, so it'd sure be sad to hear that this delays that from happening.
