Harry’s Oyster Bar in Atlantic City to Close at the End of September
It's sad news for fans of Harry's Oyster Bar on the Atlantic City boardwalk. The restaurant is closing for good at the end of September.
Harry's, located inside Bally's Casino, made the surprising announcement on Facebook Friday.
The Dougherty Family, which owned and operated Harry's, reportedly chose not to renew its lease for the Oyster Bar and will close it on September 26th.
But until then, if you want to nosh on your favorite Harry's menu items and cocktails, the restaurant is open daily from noon to 10 p.m.
We had some fun times there! The courtyard at Bally's just outside Harry's Oyster Bar was our broadcasting home for all the Atlantic City beach concerts, and the staff always took such good care of our team.
You can also grab something for posterity. Harry's Oyster Bar swag is half off through 9/26.
And, if you can't make it to Harry's before they close up shop once and for all, any gift cards you got or gave can be used at any Dougherty Family restaurants, including:
- Dock's Oyster House in Atlantic City
- Knife & Fork Inn in Atlantic City
- Dougherty's Steakhouse & Raw Bar (inside Resorts Atlantic City)
- Linwood Country Club in Linwood
Please go and support the servers and bartenders while Harry's Oyster Bar is still open.
Hey, Harry's...THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES! We'll miss you!
