Gloucester Township Approves Affordable Housing for Veterans
Affordable housing for senior veterans has been unanimously approved by Gloucester Township Council.
The housing will be located in the Lakeland section of Blackwood off Turnersville Road, according to Patch.com.
Gloucester Township Housing Authority will be able to purchase a part of the tax-exempt Lakeland complex from the township itself for $892,000.
Gloucester Township Council gave final approval to a proposed senior veteran affordable housing complex in Lakeland Monday night.

Reportedly, Gloucester Township must make 1,014 affordable housing units available by 2025.

The units, which are part of the Lakeland Redevelopment Zone will be designated for senior veterans and/or families.
