GameStop Will Close Up To 200 Stores By The End Of 2019
With the holiday shopping season not all that far away, one of the biggest brick and mortar video game stores, GameStop, just announced that they'll be closing up to 200 stores before the end of the year.
Gaming website Polygon reports that the news comes on the heels of over $30 million in losses in the previous financial quarter for GameStop, and follows an August in which the chain laid off more than 100 employees.
There are dozens of GameStop locations throughout New Jersey, that could be affected, but we don't have official confirmation of what stores will be calling it quits.
