Fire Destroys Local Home While Family is On Vacation

A local family was out of the country while their home was destroyed by a fire.

The incident occurred early yesterday morning in Monroe Township, Gloucester County, more specifically at 225 Buckingham Court.

According to NBC 10, 'The blaze started about 3:30 a.m. in a downstairs front room and went up through the roof, causing a partial collapse.'  Thankfully, nobody was trapped inside the home.

It doesn't seem like there was any suspicious activity, however, an investigation is underway.  The home may be destroyed.
