Crowd Descends on Northfield Pizzeria to Get a Glimpse of Chef Guy Fieri [PHOTOS]

Yesterday we told you the Food Network series Diners, Drive ins, and Dives was rumored to be filming around Atlantic County.  Today, our hopes were confirmed when we (and tons of fans!) spotted host Guy Fieri's famous red convertible outside Carluccio's Pizza in Northfield.

I couldn't resist the opportunity to get a photo with the classic Chevy Camaro while Guy was locked inside with his film crew getting down to what makes Carluccio's coal fired pizza pies so Triple D-worthy.

Food Network said it would confirm all featured South Jersey eateries once filming is complete, but here's hoping Carluccio's gets the recognition it deserves by making the cut for a future episode.  One thing's for sure, while it may not qualify as a diner, a drive in, or a dive, Carluccio's status just got a big boost.
