Cops: Woman Seriously Injured; Williamstown Man Charged With DWI in Vineland, NJ
Authorities in Cumberland County say a man from Williamstown is facing a list of charges, including driving while intoxicated, following an accident early Monday morning that seriously injured a woman.
The Vineland Police Department says 32-year-old Stephen M. Stinsman, Jr., has been charged with DWI, assault by auto while intoxicated, reckless driving, possession of open alcoholic containers in a motor vehicle, and failure to wear a seat belt.
Cops say Stinsman crashed into a utility pole and mailbox just before 5 AM Monday at the intersection of West Weymouth Road and Willow Drive.
A press release Monday afternoon stated an unidentified female front seat passenger was seriously injured in the accident and flown to Cooper Medical Center in Camden for further treatment.
Stinsman is currently being held in the Cumberland County Jail.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
