Camila Cabello Addresses Whether or Not There’s ‘Animosity’ Between Her and Fifth Harmony
Camila Cabello opened up about her current relationship with former-Fifth Harmony members Ally Brooke, Normani (Kordei), Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui.
Cabello admitted that she has not kept in touch with her FH sisters, but added that there is no bad blood. For Cabello, the reason she hasn't kept in touch is "not because there’s any animosity left — just the courses of our lives have drifted," she explained to Variety.
The singer said that if she saw Jauregui, Brooke, Kordei or Jane in the future, she thinks everything would be fine. "But if I saw any of them at an awards show, I would say hi and it would be totally cool. It feels like there’s been a reset just because of the amount of time that’s passed," she concluded.
The "Havana" singer even shared that she's a big fan of Normani's collaboration with Khalid, "Love Lies."
Cabello officially left the girl group in December of 2016. Prior to her departure, she released her first solo song with Shawn Mendes, "I Know What You Did Last Summer." The entire group officially disbanded in May of 2018, thus beginning their solo careers.
Cabello is one of the featured entertainers on the cover of Variety's 2019 Power of Young Hollywood issue, which also features Cole Sprouse and Stephan James.
