Burlington County, NJ, Cops: Man Stabbed in the Neck, Suspect Quickly Arrested
A man from Burlington County is facing a list of charges, including attempted murder after police say he stabbed a man in the neck Sunday morning.
39-year-old Terrell Dennis of Burlington City has been charged with first-degree attempted murder and related weapon charges, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Police Chief John Fine.
The stabbing happened inside of a house in the 500 block of Linden Avenue at around 7 AM Sunday. Officers at the scene found a 28-year-old man had been stabbed in the neck with a kitchen knife. He was taken to an area hospital and was last reported to be in critical but stable condition.
Dennis was arrested Sunday evening in Camden and is being held in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly. A detention hearing will be held later this week.
The motive for the stabbing continues to be investigated.
