Bulletproof Backpacks Sales Soar After Sandy Hook Massacre [VIDEO/POLL]

When I was a kid, the latest trapper-keeper and an 'Alf' lunch box were the only things I cared most when it came to my school backpack.

We now live in a completely different world.

Like a scene from a sad si-fi  movie, kids are being introduced to body armor.  I never thought it would come to this, but thanks to the recent tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the worst is becoming a reality.

Reality is certainly is hitting us hard.  Last night on 'Ask the Governor', Governor Chris Christie even discussed putting a guard at the entrance of each classroom.

To be honest with you, I feel angry and disgusted.  Ten years ago, if I asked you about bulletproof backpacks you would simply laugh and call me crazy.

What happened?
