Britney Spearsupcoming wedding to Jason Trawick now has a rumored date and location: Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, on the Hawaiian island of Maui. How romantic! By then, Spears will be back in control of her money, which has been under the authority of a conservatorship for the last four years.

Brit’s financial affairs were placed under the control of the conservatorship in 2008 after her meltdown, but her dad, Jamie, is asking a court to allow his daughter to once again regain control of her money. “Jamie wants to go to court in early February so Britney will be a free woman in every sense when she marries,” a source tells the Sunday Express.

MTV UK speculates that the conservatorship may remain in places for Spears’ business affairs, but that she will regain control of her personal wealth. After her hugely successful ‘Femme Fatale’ album and an extensive world tour, that fortune has probably grown quite a bit in the past year.

The marriage to Trawick, her former manager, will be Britney’s third. After her first union to Jason Alexander lasted only 55 hours, Spears spent two years and had two children with Kevin Federline. A bitter Alexander calls her engagement with Trawick “fake,” but he seems to be the only one who feels that way.

Spears and Trawick are expected to wed in a small, private ceremony. Best of luck to the future bride and groom!
