Britney Spears’ Ex-Boyfriend Killed By Taliban

A man who dated pop star Britney Spears during her time in recovery for alcohol abuse has reportedly been killed by the Taliban while in Afghanistan.

44-year old John Sundahl, who had a brief romance with Spears in 2007 after they met in her Alcoholics Anonymous program, was reportedly shot down by Taliban forces during a flight from Kabul, where he’d been on assignment as a private contractor transporting officials across the war-torn nation, reports NY Daily News.

Spears has publicly credited Sundahl with helping her overcome her drinking problems for the sake of her two sons. Sources close to Britney say she is devastated by the news.
