Brand New Wawa in Burlington County Will Have a Drive-Thru Window
If you've ever wanted to swing through a Wawa to pick up food from a drive-thru window the same way you do any other fast food restaurants, you'll get the chance at a brand new Wawa being built in Burlington County.
The Wawa store coming soon to Westampton Township recently received approval to add a drive-thru. It would be a first for Wawa, according to Patch.com.
With the drive-thru window, Wawa hopes to give customers another option for satisfying their hoagie cravings while continuing to social distance amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
But, not all of what Wawa carries will be available for purchase through the drive-thru. Your options will be limited to coffee, hoagies, breakfast sandwiches, soups, sides, and smoothies. You'll have to enter the store for everything else, but the drive-thru will reportedly be open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Wawa hasn't yet revealed an opening date for the new Westampton store and it's drive-thru but, for those of you who live in the Burlington County area, we will keep you posted!
And, we hope as Wawa builds new stores in South Jersey and renovates others, that drive-thru windows will be added to those, too!
