Remember those ads that ran on Saturday Mornings during the 80's that said, "If you wanna be cool---stay in school"?  I loved those ads!  Apparently in New Jersey, it's not just cool, it's going to be mandatory!

A bill was heard yesterday regarding NJ students, and the minimum age requirement regarding dropping out of school.   It was 16, now they are proposing the age to be 18 yrs old.  According to NBC Philadelphia, New Jersey has one of the highest graduation rates in the country, with about 87 percent of high school students receiving diplomas.

Do you think there should be a law making it mandatory for students to stay in school till 18, or should it just be encouraged?

By the way, what happens to the students who graduates at 17????
