Bear on the Run From New Jersey Police, Hides in Tree
A young black bear on the run from New Jersey police, climbs up a tree to hide from them.
NBC10 says the 119-pound male has an injured leg after being hit by a car in Saddle River. He was spotted in several neighborhood across North Jersey, and finally police were able to catch up to him.
After getting a witness call in Washington Township, the bear was chased into Paramus as he ran into a backyard and climbed a tree.
At least he tried to hide! The bear was tranquilized and captured by wildlife officials. He is expected to fully recover and released into the wild soon!
