A 1-year-old's brain tumor has shrunk significantly after being kissed by Pope Francis during his visit to Philadelphia in September.

According to Philly.com, Gianna Masciantonio had a rare brain tumor that is now basically gone after many rounds of surgery and chemotherapy. Her tumor was thought to be inoperable, and Gianna was given only months to live. After discovering the pope will be arriving to Philadelphia, Gianna's mother was dead set on Gianna meeting Pope Francis. Doctors did not believe that anything could have been done for the 1-year-old. But after Gianna's encounter with Pope Francis, her brain tumor is now almost gone.

Gianna's amazing recovery is now being deemed "The Miracle on Market Street."
