A Letter To Mother Nature, Let’s Talk

Dear Mother Nature,

First off, may I call you Mom? Great, thanks. So Mom, I am not the only one who's been asking this, but are you okay? Is something wrong? We are concerned for your well-being. We noticed a few things in the last few weeks that are raising questions among us, and I feel that they have to be brought up to you.

According to my calendar, Spring has technically sprung this past March. The 20th to be exact. Maybe it's me but the weather hasn't really fit the bill these last few weeks, am I right? We have had a very up and down weather pattern for the better part of a month, with everything from Nor'easters to 80 degree days. I will ask you again Mom, are you okay? Did Father Time hurt you?

I don't think we are asking too much when we say enough with this bipolar weather already. Just when we think it is safe to put away the heavy coat you pull the rug out from under us and wave your finger. Or you go the other way and tease us like you did last week and grace us with 2 days of 80+ degree weather. I mean which is it already?!

Is there anything I can do to help you? Help me help you! In a couple of weeks it'll be Cinco de Mayo and I will be damned if I am caught wearing my in-between seasons jacket sipping on a hot chocolate instead of a margarita.

Mom, you know where to find me.

For the sanity of all South Jersey, I beg of you, get help. Then you can take a vacation for all I care, go nuts.
