We grow lots of wonderful produce here in New Jersey all-year round. Now that the leaves are starting to change color and the air is getting crisper, it's time to harvest the fall crops! Here's a list of what's ready for pickin' this fall in South Jersey.

    Apples

    Oh, the fall goodies to make with apples! Apple pie, candy apples, apple cider, apple cider doughnuts...! They're in peak harvest season from Sept 1 until the end of October.

    Pumpkins

    Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins! Pumpkin picking is a family favorite fall activity, and there are tons of fun places in South Jersey where you can pick your own pumpkins. Use 'em for your fall decor and to make pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin soup, and of course jack-o-lanterns!

    Peak harvest season is Oct 1 - Oct 15 with early harvesting as early as Sept 15

    Cranberries

    Cranberries are a great source of antioxidants, dietary fiber, and vitamins. Pick em' and use them to make cranberry sauce, cranberry smoothies, even cranberry cider! Harvesting season is Sept 20 - Nov 10.
