It was a brawl at the mall Saturday night that involved 30 people, some teens and some adults, resulting in one arrest.

Police responded after Hamilton Mall Mays Landing security officers asked for assistance dealing with a large fight involving.

The fight broke out approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday night, PressofAtlanticCity.com reports. Multiple altercations then allegedly spawned from the time of the call until around 7:15 p.m.

Hamilton Twp. Police learned that gunshots had been fired by a 17-year old man matching the description of “a large juvenile male running across the Black Horse Pike,”.

He was captured at the Festival Mall shopping center, according to police. He was charged with disorderly conduct for throwing chairs during the mall altercation. An investigation found that no weapon had been discharged.

Mall security and management “were quick to react and help restore order,” according to the police statement.

Surveillance video of the incident was not immediately available.
