Some, however, actually walk the walk and walk right out of the Garden State for a better life.

I'll be the first to say that living in New Jersey is not easy. It's cramped, taxes are high, the government is, well, the government. You catch my drift.

The fact is there are many other cities in the U S of A that are much more affordable to live in.

How many people from outside of NJ ask you how much your house cost and are in pure shock when you tell them?

That is usually followed up by "For (insert house price here) you could build a mansion in (insert town here.)"

I think there is a certain "price we pay" for living in New Jersey. Personally, I think it's worth it.

We are close to two major cities, the beach is never more than two hours away, and the same goes for beautiful open spaces. New Jersey is a hiker's paradise.

The best cuisine from many different regions can be found in the Garden State.

Plus, our faster pace of living keeps things exciting.

However, I'd be lying if I didn't say the thought of less congestion, traffic, and, well, people can be appealing at times.
