2018 Was the Wettest Year on Record for Atlantic City
If you thought all did was rain around here in 2018, you'd be correct.
According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, an incredible 68.57 inches of rain fell at Atlantic City International Airport in Pomona is 2018. That's almost twice as much rain as Seattle received in 2018, a city known for it's rainy weather.
That's nearly 27 inches above the average for our area, which is 41.75 inches.
The previous record was 65.80 inches of rain, which well in 1948.
Records at the airport in Pomona date back to 1943.
