19-year-old Shot in Atlantic City Sunday Evening

Cops say a 19-year-old Atlantic City man is recovering from being shot Sunday evening.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, officers responded to Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Grant Avenue at around 6:40 Sunday evening for a report of a man who had been shot. Officers located the victim, a 19-year-old man from Atlantic City, who was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center - City Division for treatment of his injuries.

The investigation into the shooting is being led by the ACPD Violent Crimes Unit. Anyone with information is urged to contact police at (609) 347-5766.
