Young Jeffrey had one goal on this Friday morning: To teach Americans where the tradition of Thanksgiving REALLY came from. Canada.

Every Friday during Brooke & Jeffrey in the Morning, Jeff his Song of the Week. They're not exactly 'parodies', most of the time they're more of a tribute.

This week, Jeff decided to give little history lesson through song for those of us (and his co-workers) who never knew about the Canada-Thanksgiving connection.

Apparently, Monday, October 12th is the REAL Thanksgiving, and is celebrated by our maple leaf-loving friends to the north on that day. In fact, Jeff says Canada INVENTED Thanksgiving about 40 years before pilgrims landed on Plymouth Rock here in the U.S.

He found inspiration for his Song of the Week in none other than one of Canada's favorite exports, Justin Bieber, literally clucking and gobbling his way through his own version of 'Sorry'. And, leave it to Jeff to work in references to the pandemic and Ryan Reynolds, lol.

Sing along with Jeffrey and maybe think about how maybe next year you could have Thanksgiving TWICE! Can't argue with that!

If you missed Young Jeffrey's new Song of the Week, or just really loved it when it debuted and want to hear it again, watch the video below.
