Wear Pink on Wednesdays to Support Breast Cancer Awareness
On Wednesdays, we wear pink. Not in tribute to the movie Mean Girls, but in support of the breast cancer awareness initiative this month. We're hoping you'll join us to support the cause!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So, we're taking an idea brought forward by movie character Regina George, and using is for good. Snap a photo of yourself, your family, or you co-workers wearing pink on Wednesdays and upload that to the free SoJO 104.9 mobile app. At the end of the month, we'll randomly draw one winner to receive win a pair of tickets to see Pink in concert. We'll also make a small contribution to a cancer foundation of your choice in your name or in memory of someone you know who has been affected by breast cancer.
Also on Wednesdays, beginning October 11th, you can join Mike and 'Social' Spring on The Mike Show McDonald's Drive-Thru Tour to support the cause! Stop by these locations on these dates and simply show up the SoJO 104.9 app on your phone and we'll instantly enter you to win Pink concert tickets for her show at Wells Fargo Center on April 13th! There will be a limited number of pink SoJO 104.9 t-shirts for the first 25 fans!
