A tanker truck that caught fire along a section of Route 42 in Gloucester Township late this morning is causing major traffic headaches.

The accident reportedly took place around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday near the off ramp of the Atlantic City Expressway causing delays in both directions of the roadway. Emergency crews arrived to find the tanker truck in flames, according to CBS Philly.

Traffic is still backed up as crews try to clean up the scene.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was unharmed, thankfully.
