Ever since the premiere of their debut reality show Tori & Dean: Inn Love, actors Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have shared their courtship, marriage, and family (now four kids) with viewers.  But I'm not sure this latest series True Tori is in either of their best interest if they have any hopes in repairing they relationship after Dean admitted he cheated on the 90210 star.

In a way, I couldn't wait for the first episode of this new Lifetime reality show.  I had been so in love with Tori and Dean's love that I watched their every move, both on TV and in the many books Tori has written about her life.  The couple were both married to other people at the time they hooked up on the set of a Lifetime TV movie.  But I had always been cavalier about how wrong they both were, because they seemed so meant to be.  Their magnetic attraction to each other was undeniable, and I justified their actions because they just seemed like two people who needed to be together.

But tigers don't lose their stripes.  They can hide them, but they never lose them.  So I guess I'm disappointed, but I'm not surprised that Dean cheated on Tori.  I mean, he cheated on his first wife with HER.  Old habits are hard to break.  Over Christmas Tori found herself at the center of a cheating story outed by Us Weekly magazine.  Details were uncovered about a two-day fling Dean had with a much younger woman in Toronto while filming a new TV show.  After initially denying the affair, Dean came clean and immediately entered treatment for reported sex addiction.

Tori's life hit the skids.  And the only thing she knew to do, was call in the camera crew.  The new series True Tori follows the actress as she grapples with what to do about her marriage post-cheating scandal.  In this first episode, she is playing single mom to four kids, all under the age of 6.  She also visits Dean for the first time since he entered rehab.  And he looks like the biggest jerk ever.  At the end of this docu-series I think it's debatable that there will be a happy ending.
