Toilet Lid UP or DOWN – South Jersey Survey

I have this weird OCD thing that when the toilet is NOT being used, the lid has to be down. Others in my house don't share the same vision...

It began when I was in college at The University of Georgia when a toilet lid was left UP and I accidentally knocked something in the toilet. If the lid had been down, it never would have happened.

It was then and there that I vowed to always drop the lid when not in use.

How do YOU keep the toilet LID when not in use? LID UP always, or LID DOWN?
