Testing Out the New Starbucks X Ariana Grande Cloud Macchiato

Good Morning! Today Starbucks debuted their collaboration with Ariana Grande, the cloud macchiatos. The cloud macchiatos have a slight twist from the traditional macchiato with egg white foam rather than steamed milk. Starbucks describes the drink as, "Bold espresso cascades through light, fluffy layers of foam, topped with a drizzle of flavor." They came out with two different flavors, caramel and cinnamon.

I chose to go with the hot versions of these new drinks, it's way too cold for an iced macchiato. Starbucks and Ariana Grande spent Monday teasing the new drink with cryptic posts. The new cloud macchiatos launched this morning at 9 AM EST, Starbucks had a countdown on their Instagram Story running since yesterday.

The coffee company dabbled in sand cutting ASMR to tease the new collab.

So will I be saying "Thank U, Next" or adding the macchiato to my version of "7 Rings?"

Honestly, it's so good! The egg white foam holds longer and filters the espresso so well. I am kind of obsessed with it already, plus I am having such a sugar/caffeine rush from drinking two of them. Of course I had to try both the cinnamon and caramel drinks.
