It was a defeat for Joe Kyrillos, the Republican challenger for U.S. Senate in New Jersey, who never figured out a way to beat a better-known, more financed incumbent.
Roughly 2 million New Jersey homes and businesses are still without power today after the devastation left behind by super storm Sandy. That means almost 5 million people are in the dark.

If you've been wanting to give Gov. Chris Christie a piece of your mind your chance is coming this week. Christie will be holding a town hall meeting in Galloway at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Galloway Township Middle School to address tax relief for New Jersey residents. The session is open to the public and is expected to last between 60 to 90 minutes.
