Madonna turns 55 today.  While it's hard to get over that fact, and the fact that she outlived Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston, I love looking back on her career.  'Get Into the Groove' isn't my favorite Madonna video, but it's the song I go back to time and again since I'm still so drawn to the movie Desperately Seeking Susan.

A birthday celebration for the Absecon Lighthouse will be filled with various fun activities today....

Wildwood celebrates its 100th birthday today with a beach bash and later tonight a display of fireworks. The excitment begins at noon near the Wildwoods sign at Boardwalk and Rio Grande Avenue.  There will be beach games from 1 to 6 p.m., and a bonfire with music from 7 to 10 p.m. that will be followed by fireworks.
