Another wonderful law has been passed...

If you're planning on using a credit card for your purchases, you might want to check your receipt for any extra charges.

According to NBC 40, a new law 'now allows businesses the option of charging consumers the processing or check out fee that comes with every credit card transaction.'

Don't worry, if local businesses decide to take the charge fee option, they are required to display a sign in their shops.  So when shopping, keep your eyes pealed.

But should we even have to be aware? After all, we worked hard for our money, and we shouldn't have to worry if more money is being taken out of accounts than we thought.  Right?

Then again, you can always just pay cash, and it eliminates the problem all together.

What do you think?
