Super Mom Heidi Klum Saves Son, Nanny from Drowning [PHOTOS]

Supermodel turned Super Mom?  Heidi Klum turned into Wonder Woman this week pulling her son and nanny out of the Pacific Ocean after they got caught in a riptide.

According to People.com, Klum's eldest son, 7-year old Henry, and two nannies were being overpowered by a strong undertow off the coast of Hawaii when Klum and her boyfriend Martin Kirsten sprung into action to save them before it was too late.

Of the harrowing ordeal captured by paparazzi, Klum tells People.com:

"We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water," she said.  "Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely."

Safe and sound, Klum and her family cut short their Hawaiian vacation and returned home to Los Angeles yesterday.

I have a new heroine!  My only question is, what were the people taking pictures and video doing while Heidi was busy trying to save her child?  Hmmm.
