Jersey strong, indeed! Despite the devastation from Hurricane Sandy, real estate experts in Atlantic and Cape May Counties say "shoobies" are still excited about hitting the beaches this summer.

While realtors throughout South Jersey say they aren't seeing the influx of North Jersey renters that they had been expecting, they're still doing well. Even in Brigantine, one of the hardest areas, realtors say folks are, "renting up a storm" -- no pun intended.

In Cape May County's largest shore towns, Ocean City and Wildwood, realtors tell the Press of Atlantic City that they're seeing the high-end properties move faster than in previous years. Certainly a good sign for the local economies that live and die by the success of the summer.

Realtors up and down Atlantic and Cape May Counties are somewhat concerned that they aren't seeing North Jersey renters looking south. However, some stress that it is still early in the summer rental season and that things like that may pick up soon.
