South Jersey Teen Charged in Deadly DUI Crash

Police say 19 year-old Marianne Corsiglia, of Vineland, was drunk behind the wheel yesterday when she crashed into a passing car in Pittsgrove Township.According to NBC40, the car Corsiglia was driving crossed the center line in the area of Almond Road and Gershal Avenue, and then struck a car driven by 39-year-old Melissa Brenner of Rosenhayn.

Brenner died at the scene.  Corsiglia and her passenger, 20-year-old Matthew Sheppherd, were taken to an area hospital.

Corsiglia faces a host of charges, including driving under the influence and reckless driving. Additional charges are pending.
