Smoke is still emanating from the Double Eagle Saloon in Vineland, where a serious fire broke out this morning.

Flames reportedly broke out around 6 a.m. at the saloon and deck bar located Panther Road, NBC Philadelphia reports. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this hour.

Firefighters were seen dousing the blaze, but there were no reports of injuries.

The Double Eagle, a local favorite in Cumberland County just concluded its Cinco de Mayo party last night.

The Double Eagle has a rich history in South Jersey.  It opened in Vineland's New Italy neighborhood in the 1920's and was considered a speakeasy during prohibition.
