Retailers Make Shopping Easier Through Mobile Apps

Shopping can either be really fun, or an absolute headache for some people. Now, stores such as Macy's and JCPenney attempt at making it a positive experience by using mobile apps to make shopping easy and convenient.

Retailers are currently using phones to enhance our shopping experience especially during the holiday season when shopping can become hectic. For instance, Macy's has created an app that will guide shoppers through the store to find the products they're seeking. Meanwhile, JCPenney's app allows shoppers to take a picture of a passerby and find out if the store has similar items. Staples' app lets customers compare its prices to competitors like Amazon.

Many stores now want to save its customers from the headache of endlessly searching for a product only to discover that it is already sold out. Which, I know is something we all encounter especially with Christmas shopping coming up. Most of these apps allow you to purchase the item through its app, which is even better.

In addition to helping you find a product in the store, these apps are also perfect for customer service helping you get in better contact with a representative.
