The Summer of 2015 was an unusually active summer for something known as "Floating Terror" at the Jersey Shore...will SUMMER 2016 be as bad or EVEN WORSE?

The Portuguese Man O War is also known as the Blue Bubble or Floating Terror. Some people assume that it is a jellyfish, but technically it is NOT a jellyfish.

It's stings can be very painful, causing huge, deep marks on the skin resulting in scaring, and sometimes the stings can be fatal to humans, but is rare.

The blue bubble part floats on top of the water, catching the wind like a sail to move it along through the water, and the long tentacles drag along underneath and can be anywhere from 30 feet, to almost 100 feet long!
